From the perspective of industrial security, the main topic of this conference is about "the investment and development of bamboo pulp, paper, forestry and paper integration and the docking of forestry and paper cooperation projects". The purpose is to further adjust the structure of raw materials, reduce dependence on foreign raw materials, reduce production costs, improve market competitiveness and ensure the safety of the industry by strengthening the development and utilization of domestic paper resources such as bamboo pulp, Consolidate the leading position of domestic paper enterprises in the industry

as a sunrise industry, China's paper industry has entered a new stage of rapid development. China's paper production and consumption account for 10% and 14% of the world's total respectively, second only to the United States. It is the world's second largest paper production and consumption country. Moreover, the demand of China's paper industry is still growing, and it is one of China's traditional industries with the most growth potential. However, in the process of rapid growth, there are still some problems in the development of China's paper industry, especially the excessive dependence of wood pulp on foreign markets, which has become a problem faced by Alibaba, the world's largest e-commerce platform with data and its rookie logistics network. In 2005, the total consumption of pulp in China was 52 million tons, including 11.3 million tons of wood pulp; Domestic pulp production is 44.46 million tons, including 3.56 million tons of wood pulp, accounting for only 8%. These data illustrate two problems: first, the proportion of wood pulp in China is low, accounting for only 22% of the total pulp consumption; Second, the proportion of domestic wood pulp is lower, and about 2/3 of wood pulp is imported. More than 40% of the global waste paper trade volume is imported into China. From the perspective of development trend, in the next few years, China will realize full computer control and print standard experimental reports for the feeding and connection of wood pulp and waste paper; Completely changing the shortcomings of the traditional material type experimental machine, such as cumbersome machine, complex operation and single performance, the export will continue to grow at a higher level. As a result, the prices of pulp and waste paper in the international market continue to rise, which not only makes Chinese enterprises increase production costs, but also makes the whole industry subject to foreign raw material supply markets due to excessive dependence on imported raw materials, which increases the risks of China's paper industry and affects industrial safety

therefore, the purpose of holding this forum today is to make use of China's sufficient bamboo resources, accelerate the development of bamboo pulp and paper industry, increase the supply of domestic self owned raw materials, and form a pattern of coordinated development of the structure of raw materials such as wood pulp, bamboo pulp, straw pulp and waste pulp

bamboo is known as the "second wood". Bamboo fiber is slender, superior to straw pulp and hardwood pulp, second only to coniferous pulp. It is the best papermaking raw material outside wood, suitable for the production of medium and high-grade paper products. Bamboo grows fast, has a short cycle and is renewable. It benefits from one-time afforestation every year and can be used continuously. It is the best substitute and supplement of wood pulp

on the whole, I believe that China has the following advantages in developing bamboo pulp papermaking: first, China is rich in resources. China is the country with the richest bamboo resources in the world, and the species, area, accumulation and annual output of bamboo rank first in the world. At present, the bamboo forest area in China is about 4.2 million hectares, accounting for 25% of the total bamboo forest area in the world; Second, the technology is becoming more and more mature. Through continuous exploration and production practice, at present, bamboo pulp papermaking technology has been able to produce medium and high-end cultural paper, paper, kraft liner board and other products, and the technology of pulping and papermaking with bamboo pulp has become more and more mature; Third, the production cost is low, which has a price advantage over wood pulp. Bamboo survives in one year and becomes a forest in two years. The purchase price is low, and the cost advantage is quite obvious. At the same time, the product quality is stable and has strong market competitiveness; Fourth, policy support. At present, the country is actively promoting the integration of forestry and paper and the policy of returning farmland to forests, which is very conducive to the construction of bamboo pulp raw material base. Through industrialization and large-scale planting, we can ensure the sufficient supply of raw materials

the development of bamboo pulp and paper industry is a systematic project, which needs to be driven by leading enterprises, the improvement of supporting policies, the strong support of the government and the active participation of farmers. Only on this basis can we form an industrial chain integrating companies, bases and farmers, and take the road of industrialization and intensive development. By mobilizing local governments and farmers at all levels to develop and build bamboo forest bases and form an industrial chain with paper-making enterprises, this model not only ensures the supply of raw materials, but also increases farmers' income and promotes local economic development
